Private mobile radio networks
We offer services in the design of private mobile networks responding to the needs of emergency health care, civil defence and aid in general.
Of the main technological solutions on the market, the company has had prodigious experience in the development of TETRA digital technology networks principally for public service and police authorities, industrial plant management companies and facilities. An excellent example is the implementation of the TETRA network for the Provincia Autonoma di Trento.

Wireless broadband
As broadband has spread throughout Italy and the world, the need for connectivity has increased in those areas where wired access is less feasible. Calzavara has therefore, for several years now, devised wireless networks for broadband coverage in areas that cannot be reached with wireline technology or are subject to Digital Divide. The company designs and develops solutions using the most innovative technologies (Wi-Fi, Hiperlan, WiMax) for private citizens and public authorities, devising and setting up Network Planning RF, Site Survey and Planning.
Network Planning RF is implemented using the most cutting edge, professional software systems for radio design, with digital terrain mapping essential for the accurate planning and analysis of:

Mobile cellular communication
The market of mobile communications has developed exponentially over the past few years. Working in step with operators' need for growth, calzavara has formed a team of designers with in-depth knowledge of mobile network technologies: GSM/EDGE, UMTS, HSDPA and HSUPA.
Design includes these services: traffic analysis and forecasts, positioning of sites and prediction of radio coverage, cell sizing, frequency planning (frequency reuse and definition of clusters) and network optimization (sizing traffic and cell channels).

Microwave transmission networks
